First & foremost, the only real puppy food is vomit. "It is heated predigested perfection." We currently have not established a way to manufacture such a product. The companies that claim to have puppy foods are misleading the consumer. Many of these alleged puppy foods have excessive protein levels which cause an array of problems.
Our dry food with it's ratio of fat to protein is almost identical to that of a bitches milk. This ratio makes our product more suitable for proper puppy development. Our protein percentage is predicated on a mouse which is possibly the most consumed prey in the wild. It is interesting to note that a mouse and a Buffalo are about 22% protein. Both are on the very top of a wild dog's menu. So as you can see much thought went into our dry food. Our protein to fat percentages & ratios may be the most copied in the industry.

Our feeding ideology was implemented decades before a scanty few Veterinarians touted the benefits of raw feeding. My dad & I were feeding raw & cooked meat in the years from 1950 to 1960. However, many people fed raw meat scraps and leftovers. We were not the only dog owners that realized the benefits of variety and freshness in a canine diet. Keep in mind, this was before commercial food became popular. In 1960 I read "Juliette" all the pieces fit and the Feral Feeding system was born. It is important to note, Juliette's books put raw & herbal strategies on the map. I suspect Juliette may have saved more animal lives than anyone known. While others try to take credit for her great accomplishments, they are merely pretenders to her throne!
