Received a copy of the "Total Rottweiler Magazine," issue #1. I was pleased to see dogs with cheek muscles. I have always liked that look & could never understand why masseter muscles were not desirable in Rottis. Another item that will help improve the Rottweiler breed (in my opinion) & is also featured in the magazine, is competitive weight pulling & carting. The Rottweiler is first & foremost a drafting dog. Why not predicate breeding decisions on a more breed specific event, as opposed to events designed for the GSD? If Rottweilers were drafted for speed, distance & power you would have better breed balance & improved health. (In my opinion) Perhaps breeding to the best drafting Rottweilers would improve genetic hip issues? The "Total Rottweiler Magazine" appears to be a good read! |

I get many calls each month regarding the Swinford Bandogge. This cross was certainly part of my history. However, I no longer breed this cross. Many of you know we are contemplating the construction of a kennel-sport facility. However, breeding the Swinford dog is not being considered. Although the calls are friendly & flattering, please do not contact me regarding this topic. Fondest Regards, Martin |

He further asserts that Rexie has attacked 8 other dogs in the park & has documents from on lookers to prove this happend. The court appointed arbitrator, has requested interviews with the 8 on lookers. However, the plaintiff is only capable of producing letters.

Jeff Blair lives in Georgia, a Yonkers lad as a youth. Jeff has bred Pressa's for close to 20 years. He promises me that once a bitch from his line accepts male, she will never breed to another dog. He also feels his line of dogs will never go after a woman or child. However, they are very suspicious of men. Any one out there run into these traits in mastiff type dogs. If so, we would be interested in hearing from you. |
