On a wall in my home, two framed documents hang side by side. These documents deal with a famous legal case. The trial took place in the state of Missouri in 1870. The two documents are about a hunting dog named Drum, his owner named Burden, the accused named Hornsby & an attorney named George Graham Vest. Years later, Vest was to go on to become a member of the United States Senate.
Drum had a wonderful nose & a melodious voice. Rural people would refer to the hound's bark as mountain music. The dog was to his owner, something he loved & something of real value. Although Drum was a dog that helped put meat on the table, he was not viewed as a commodity. He was truly a member of Burden's family. |

Nearly two decades ago, Sports Illustrated maligned The American Pit Bull Terrier. The magazine's vivid cover page & detailed misinformation was the straw that broke the Camel's hump. So deleterious was their article, thousands of bully breeds were surrenderd to animal hospitals & shelters for euthanasia. Several months ago, Sports Illustrated repaired some of the destruction done decades earlier. Please find the December 29, 2008 issue. "The article is a (well needed) breath of fresh air."

On April 1st 2009, I will send President Obama a Tea Bag. This will let our new president know that I am not happy with his performance. We do not want to pick up the tab for irresponsible home owners. I believe the stimulas package is a form of economic suicide etc. Please google the "New American Tea Party" you will get all the facts. Spread the word! President Obama needs to know our feelings, our numbers & our sincerety. Should you write to our president, be respectful & polite. 1600 Pennsylvania Av. Washington, D.C. 20500 |

Once again, I want to reassure our customers, we will continue to offer free, zero cost milling. In addition, we will continue to offer our trade mark 55# bag . MK9 has continuously provided our customers with more value & volume than our competitors. As previously mentioned, the 55# bag gives our customers 37% more food. At most locations our product is still under $1.00 per pound. Frequently customers mention they can buy our fresh frozen meat for less than our competitors (per pound) dry food price. This is pleasing to hear!

Lisa Lange, an employee Of Peta was on the factor last evening. I must say, with great reluctance, Lange was reasonable in her presentation. However, I only agreed with her (in part) on one point. She stated, owning Great Apes is a questionable practice. I have but one proviso. I feel well qualified people keeping Chimps or similar exotics for educational purposes is a wonderful learning opportunity, perhaps benifiting the world. O'rielly is a polemic conservative & in this area his performances are rarely tarnished. "Billy Boy needs to stick with what he is qualified to talk about." Animal issues are a topic Bill should avoid. He appears passionless! People view the factor for facts & most of the time we get factual answers. However, last evening, questions regarding Peta's tax avoidance, the killing & of dogs & cats, sterilization of feral animals, were never mentioned. "Peta got a free ride." Orielly, a fighting Irishman, the nimble word smith took a dive! |

The Peta saga thickens. The claim that follows may support the assumption that Peta's slaughter of innocent companion animals is tied in to big profits & alliances with renderers . A rendering plant in the north east may receive most of New york's deceased dogs & felines. These deceased animals are shipped allegedly to the Valley Protein Co. in Baltimore. My information is based on an article written by Sandra Brigola, accompanied by a quote from a DVM named R.G. Broderick (a L.I. veterinarian) who years ago visited with us @ MK9.
