This product shipped east of the Mississippi River costs about $20.00 to ship via UPS (an average of the five zones UPS defines in the region), plus $2.50 for the carton, totaling $22.50 in freight and packaging. Shipments West of the Mississippi are marginally higher.

If you add $22.50 to $48.00, our online price for this product,  the per pound cost of a 55 pound bag of Martin’s K-9 Formula is about $1.28 per pound, including shipping costs to your door, which is still lower than the average supermarket, pet store or online price for lesser quality “super premium” dog foods. Plus you get the added convenience of having your order shipped directly to your door.

We are always looking for more cost effective ways to ship our product. To date, our UPS arrangement provides the highest quality of service for the lowest price. Please take this into consideration when you experience the sticker shock associated with shipping large, heavy packages.
