The Staffordshire Bull Terrier has taken this side of the pond by storm. In fact, the breed's popularity has spread to South Africa, Israel and South America. Why? The answer is easily understood. The Stafford is so trusting with children the breed has earned the nick name 'The Nanny's dog." With the appearance of a P.J. Mene bronze statue, the breed is both pleasing to view or hug. The Staffordshire is a lot of dog in a small package. Below please find a collection of some of our favorite Staffy pictures. The first is of Champion Elvis, a beautiful black colored staffy who is owned by Stangos Restaurant here in Geln Cove NY. The scond is of one of celebrated breeder Tony George's Staffordshires taking a nap with his friend. The third is another one of Tony's dogs, Little Bug, playing nanny, and seat cushion, to a little girl.
