On Sunday 10-28-2007, the Sixty Minutes Show did a segment on the death of Bees. What does this mean? The Bees are major players in the pollination of plants. If the Bees do not pollinate & cross pollinate plants much of our vegetation will die. The diets of the animals we consume may cause them to weaken and die. Sixty Minutes claims the problem may be linked to the Bayer Aspirin Co. Bayer has developed an insecticide with a Nicotine base that is a suspect in the demise of the Bees. This problem is an international issue. Reduced pollination has the potential to cause health problems and increased food prices. If this problem is not reversed our cost of living has the potential to seriously increase. Dry matter dog food & raw meat will escalate also.
