The notion that dogs do not have enough Amylase to digest dry food is perplexing. Some claim over 50% waste with dry foods.

I can not speak for every formulation. However, the best method to assay a dog food for % of waste is to weigh the food going in against the weight of the stool going out. I feel you will find the Amylase issue to be a gross exaggeration.
