The February 2008 issue of Dog World magazine see pg. 18, has an article by Jean Dodds, DVM. On the left lower quadrant of pg.19 Dodds writes about 20 to 22% protein diets and the benefits derived from these diets. For more info. read my essay on Why Our Food Is 22%.

Dog World is attempting to be more of a performance magazine. They have a ways to go! However, they appear to be improving. See Pg. 30 a picture of a puppy wheel. The interesting thing about this wheel, invented by Jeff King (Iditarod Champion) is that he is running or milling 3 dogs @ one time. To do this I would think all 3 dogs would need to be from the same litter and be the same size. However, the middle pup appears smaller and runs with what looks like an identical gait. Crude but interesting invention...no need to turn the dogs because they are running evenly on their right and left sides. Similar appliances have been used for Hamsters,Gerbils and Chickens.
