Earlier this week, news of a successful cloning procedure was announced. This scientific wonder occurred in Scotland. The subject turned out to be a sheep.Last night I watched Chris Matthews on CNBC with a Ph.D. and other well-educated guests. The dialogue had to do with the cloning of people and the cloning of human organs. The prevailing opinion was that from a Judeo-Christian position this was not acceptable. Singapore has practiced Eugenics for decades. I believe by allowing healthier, brighter, better-looking people to reproduce, the world will have less suffering and more productivity. The world will need less hospitals...less funeral parlors...less sadness!!! My observation regarding this issue is that the handsome high I.Q. types tend to be against cloning and eugenics. Possibly, they fear the competition. Possibly, they can not imagine what it would like to try hard at school only to fail, possibly they can't envision being ugly, possibly they can't perceive being a bad athlete or inept at earning a living or in a constant state of depression. Maybe they are just not aware of how many genetically defective people (fight to) exist in this world. Breeding the best to the best is not that different from cloning. The goal is the same, the cloning procedure is, however, vastly superior. More to follow!!! |
