I have mentioned the topical application of Eclipta in previous writings. Several customer inquiries have been made, resulting in positive results. Eclipta looks like Crab Grass. It is popular in India & China, where the plant grows as a perennial. However, in the United States the plant is harvested on an annual schedule. Eclipta has several applications, it is said to be a tonic for the liver and has value against Arthritis etc. I can not confirm the validity of these claims. It should be noted, our use of Eclipta is limited to external use. My initial experiences with Eclipta were mixed. It appears quality may vary. However, when the Eclipta is pure it darkens pigment, giving a dog a wonderful shine & pleasant smell. Eclipta, when applied daily may help to repel (some) insects and will help reverse seasonal dryness. |
