I spoke with a dealer of ours in NYC. We gabbed a bit about pricing & how excessively expensive many of the brands have become. I feel comfortable saying in spite of the manufacturing, transportation & packaging increases we have stayed the course with our 55 # bag. Delivering more per # value than our competitors. Depending on location, the average MK9 customer pays below $1.25 per pound. Many brands are going for $2.00 per pound and even as high as $2.50 per # for the smaller bags. It is interesting to note, our per # raw meat pricing is considerably lower than many of our competitors dry food pricing.

When we came into this industry most companies had 50# bags including MK9. About 25 years ago many companies went to the 40# bag. We on the other hand decided to be Mavericks & go to a 55# bag.
