Just another heads up. Nyakasangasafaris & BIG Game Safaris are owned by the scoundrel Barry Van Heerden, He owes Von golloub & yours truly $1000.00.Plus he has my trophies for 2 years. Call Safari Club INT. to verify. Any positive press you read about Barry should be verified.
On 6/22/210 Barry e mailed me. He promised to pay the $1000. He blames the freight forwarder for having my trophies too long. He made a number of assertions about me. About my ability to handle a .460 WBY calibre & my ability to keep up with people that are 1/2 my age. Iwas at the time of the hunt 65 years old. Regarding the age issue Barry is correct. My pace was slower & after a couple of days of following buffalo herds I gave my rifle to a bearer.The other issues are the perceptions of an embarrased professional hunter.
UPDATE: Recently Barry Van Heerden has promised to wire money in to my personal account. Perhaps, this is a result of all the publicity.In any event if Vanheerden pays the balance owed & I get my trophies this matter will be closed.
