Dog Food, Supplements and Nutrition Products for Working Dogs

The Abady Dog Food Company, takes a rather lofty - complex approach to feeding dogs. For example, the company claims to utilize "Genius Level Thinking" & this allegedly results in the Abady product  being superior to all others.

In 1988, Abady wrote a treatise called The State Of Animal Nutrition. On page 65,  Abady proves beyond a doubt that all other diets are unsound & inferior to the Abady Company product. May 24th, 1995 a letter is drafted by Abady threatening MK9 with legal action. The letter stated, should MK9 continue to state we are the Abady equal, legal action would commence. Considering the document as frivolous, we never responded & Abady failed to take action. With all due respect to the late Robert Abady & his company, we felt & still  feel the Martins K9 Formula product gets better results than Abady. After all,the proof is not only @ the finish line, but the bottom line as well. The economics of feeding is certainly key in running a kennel or a household . 

Granted our ingredient list, by design was never exotic. However, our product certainly gets the job done. We have fed sport dogs for decades & many have lived to 15 years or more. In addition, with our feeding ideology, allergy is rarely an issue. On a per pound  basis, we sell fresh frozen raw Green Tripe or raw Beef for less money than Abady, or the Solid Gold Company sell their dry food. 

We are serious dog people, that shape & feed dogs every day. Having said this, we also respect our competitors. When Robert Abady passed away, we wrote a tribute to him. It was featured on the opening page of our web site.

We do not have the "GENIUS LEVEL THINKING" of the Abady Dog Food Company, nor do we have the Hundchen - Flocken  Technology, of the Solid Gold Dog Food Company. We do have simplicity & good results.
