Healing foods are very important in the process of tissue repair and fighting secondary infection.Foods rich in carbohydrates and proteins are wonderful healers. Don't forget the baby talk; I call it verbal anesthesia. There is something harmonic or melodious about people talking to a sick dog. If the dog is a kennel dog, bring him in the house and put him next to your bed if need be. These things will many times save a dog that would have been lost.
If you lose the dog, you probably did everything possible to cure him. Equally important is that you made his final days or hours very special.
